Research of the Aspuru-Guzik group focuses on three areas of theoretical physical chemistry and its applications:
(1) the connections between quantum computation,
quantum information and chemistry;
(2) theoretical studies of energy and charge transfer in renewable energy materials;
(3) methods development for electronic structure theory:
first-principles methods, density functional theory, and quantum Monte Carlo.
