Biographical Sketch
James was a mathematics and chemistry major at Morehouse College In the summer of 2005, he worked with the prominent physical chemist, Dr. William Lester, at the University of California at Berkeley. There he applied Quantum Monte Carlo methods to find molecular energies. This summer he is beginning at Harvard in the Aspuru Group under the guidance of Alan Aspuru. James is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Phi Beta Kappa, Golden Key National Honor Society. In his free time, James is an enthusiastic chess player and a beginning pool player.
