RESEARCH ACCOMPLISHMENTS

During my Ph. D. studies, I developed a first-principles methodology to investigate the impact of electron-phonon interactions on the charge-carrier mobilities in organic semiconductors. I was able to provide with the first full quantum-mechanical characterization of the interactions of the charge-carriers with the optical phonons in the pentacene crystal.

CURRENT RESEARCH

Leading the first distributed computing eff ort to aid the design of organic (nano) materials with promising characteristics in the field of renewable sources of energy and information technology.
